Wxvision

WxVision is a broadcast weather and live camera platform from WMVision, a company serving the television broadcast industry for more than 25 years. The platform pairs WxVision HD PTZ cameras, offering 360-degree pan, tilt, and zoom with enhanced low-light performance, with a Linux-based broadcast server. The server provides four to twelve video outputs with graphic overlay, DVE squeeze of multiple cameras onto one screen, automated sponsor overlays, and rundown integration. WxVision.Net lets stations build a network of live cameras and weather stations streaming from remote locations over standard broadband connections. Contributing cameras to the shared platform gives a station access to thousands of cameras in other markets, which is valuable when covering major regional or national news events.
