Ohio Local Columbus Revenue Information Service Portal

The Columbus Revenue Information Service Portal, known as CRISP, is the City of Columbus tax filing and payment system operated by the City Auditor's Income Tax Division. It allows individuals and businesses to file Columbus municipal income tax returns, make payments, and track refunds fully online for the first time in the city's history. New users register a customer account through the portal, while existing taxpayers can fast-track access using a mailed code. The system includes a chatbot named OTUS that guides filers through the process, and it handles only Columbus city taxes rather than federal or Ohio state filings. Columbus also administers tax collection for a number of other Ohio municipalities, whose filings route through the same infrastructure.
