IMA Valencia

The Instituto Municipal del Ambiente, or IMA, is a decentralized public entity of the Valencia municipal government in Carabobo, Venezuela. It handles environmental management for the municipality, including street cleaning, solid waste collection and final disposal, sanitation, and maintenance of parks and public spaces. The institute also administers the municipal cleaning tax, or impuesto de aseo, which residents and businesses must pay for those services. Its online systems let taxpayers review obligations, generate payment documents, and settle cleaning tax and related municipal charges without visiting a physical office.
