Entra ID is Microsoft's cloud-based identity and access management service, formerly known as Azure Active Directory. It provides authentication and authorization for employees, partners, and customers accessing internal resources, cloud applications, and third-party SaaS tools. The platform supports single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, and identity governance to secure organizational access across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
