Employees Provident Fund

The Employees' Provident Fund Unified Portal is the official employer-side platform operated by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), a statutory body under India's Ministry of Labour and Employment. It enables registered establishments to manage provident fund compliance, including employee enrollment, Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR) filing, and monthly contribution payments. Employers use the portal to update establishment details, generate and validate Universal Account Numbers (UAN) for workers, and reconcile member-wise contribution data. The system integrates with banking channels to facilitate online remittance of provident fund dues and supports digital signature-based authentication for secure filings. It serves as the primary compliance interface between businesses operating in India and the national retirement savings scheme mandated for eligible employees.
