Corpoelec

Corpoelec, or Corporación Eléctrica Nacional, is Venezuela's state-owned electricity company responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of power across the country. It was formed through the merger of numerous regional electricity companies that previously operated independently before nationalization efforts consolidated the sector. The company serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout Venezuela, managing the national grid infrastructure that connects power plants to end users. Its operations include hydroelectric facilities, thermoelectric plants, and transmission lines that form the backbone of the country's energy supply. Corpoelec also handles billing, customer service, and outage management for electricity consumers nationwide, operating under the oversight of the Venezuelan Ministry of Electric Power.
