Amazon Vendor

Amazon Vendor Central is a web-based platform through which manufacturers and distributors sell products directly to Amazon as wholesale suppliers, rather than as third-party sellers on the marketplace. Vendors use it to submit purchase orders, manage product listings, upload catalog information, and set pricing for items Amazon then resells to customers under a first-party retail model. The platform provides tools for inventory management, order fulfillment tracking, and shipment confirmation through EDI or manual entry. It also offers access to sales performance reports, chargeback and deduction details, and advertising and marketing programs like A+ Content and Amazon Vine. Access to Vendor Central is by invitation only, typically extended to brands that Amazon's retail buying teams select to source products directly.
